Seminari teema täpsem kirjeldus

Title:  Embracing DevOps to Improve Velocity and Security

Speaker: Rob Clyde

Abstract:

Many IT and software development organizations are investigating, piloting or already using DevOps as a method to increase the speed and reliability of deploying new and updated applications. Unfortunately, sometimes developers or IT organizations claim they are using DevOps when they are really doing something else. Often DevOps is implemented with security as an afterthought. Security and audit should be integrated into DevOps and this is sometimes referred to as DevSecOps. This can allow you to have rapid delivery and deployment with greater confidence in the reliability and security of your systems.

Learning objectives:

  1. Understand what DevOps really is and why organizations use it.
  2. Understand how to integrate security and audit into DevOps
  3. Explore potential pitfalls and advantages that typically come with DevOps
